In a world where electric and hybrid cars are the new norm, it’s no surprise every manufacturer is jumping on the bandwagon. The first ever mass-produced hybrid car was the Toyota Prius, launched in 1997. It’s no wonder Toyota started to offer hybrid and plug-in variants of their entire lineup. The Corolla got the same treatment, and it was expected. The Corolla is the go-to car for people looking for something affordable and fuel efficient.
That said, don’t let the haters tell you how to live your life. In this day and age, every car is capable of being modified to look better. This ‘Rolla is no exception. Fine, it’s not the fastest thing on the road, but so what? It wasn’t built for that. As car enthusiasts ourselves, we know gearheads will modify anything. And we’re so happy that the owner of this particular car agrees.

The Power of Electricity
The owner of this Toyota wanted to spice-up their ride but didn’t know where to start. They happened to stumble upon us; DRW. Call it luck, fate or a match made in heaven. We wanted to take this project on because we cater to a wider demographic, and this was the perfect car to showcase that. We mounted our 18×8 gloss black machined face D15 and wrapped them in 225/40 Lexani tires. If you ask us, the more aggressive fitment and styling really gave this car a new life.
Here at DRW, we applaud breaking boundaries and going against social norms. That’s what we’re all about. Not everybody can break the bank for a true sports car, but everyone can add their own flavor to what they do drive. With an upgraded diameter and width, this Corolla looks super clean and feels a bit more sportier.
